CRIME ALERT CANCELED: Attempted Bank Robbery in Custody

SUSPECT ARRESTED

On Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at 12:01 p.m., Bethlehem Police responded to a bank robbery at Bank of America, 2356 Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem, Lehigh County.

A dark-skinned female entered the bank and handed a teller a note.  No one was injured in the robbery.  No other details are available at this time.

The woman was wearing a knee-length tan/brown wool style winter coat with a grayish hood hanging from the back neck area. The woman also was wearing a blue and white patterned scarf. She has brown eyes and wore her black hair in a bun. She is young in appearance and has a medium build. She is approximately 5’ 4” to 5’ 6”  tall.

The woman left the bank on foot toward Pennsylvania Avenue.
